Name Inspiration: The necklace has been named after “Induleka”, a fictional female charatcter from the famous novel by the same name by O.Chandu Menon. It was the first ever novel in the Malayalam language and a landmark in Malayalam literature. Published in 1889, it talks about "Indulekha” who was a strong Nair Tharavad woman, known to have resisted patriarchy and very well educated.

Item Description: Featuring a replica of one of the traditional “thaali” pendants of Kerala (the kuzhalmothiram) in Sterling silver (92.5% purity), this necklace is a fusion style with irregularly interspersed gemstones and silver, giving it an eclectic look. It is kept simple and finished with a plain sterling silver (92.5% purity) S hook clasp.

Length: 25 inches approx. (when measured around the neck from nape to tip of the necklace).
