Name Inspiration: The necklace is named after “Godhadevi” or “Godhai” who later came to be known as “Andal”. She was the reincarnation of Goddess Mahalakshmi and a great devotee of Lord Perumal (Venkateshwara). She is the only female alvar among the 12 saints (of the Srivaishnava tradition of Hinduism) and worshipped and highly celebrated for her greatest Tamil language works, “Thiruppavai” and “Nachiar Thirumozhi”.
